what high alumina bricks are used in the rotary kiln?
The compressive strength of high alumina bricksfor rotary kiln is divided into normal temperature compressive strength and high temperature compressive strength. It is one of the important performance indicators to measure the quality of high alumina bricks, which indirectly reflects the density, uniformity, sintering and other structures of the product. The room temperature compressive strength of high alumina refractory bricks refers to the undamaged ultimate load that the refractory sample can withstand per unit area at room temperature. The room temperature compressive strength of high alumina refractory bricks has a great influence on the production, transportation and performance of the product, and also directly affects the service life of the product in most cases. Therefore, we expect this product to achieve high compressive strength values.
High alumina refractory bricks and clay bricks are not only different in alumina content. Their production processes are similar, but the clinker content in the mix is higher, which can reach 90-95%, and the firing temperature is also higher than that of clay bricks. Many, in the practical test, the first and second grade high alumina bricks are mostly used in tunnel kilns with a temperature of 1500-1600 ° C, blast furnaces, furnace tops, reverberatory furnaces, rotary kiln linings and many other kilns.
When building the furnace bottom with alumina refractory bricks, the furnace bottom temperature measuring tube and grounding wire should be installed as shown in the figure, and the grounding wire should be stuck in the brick joints. The ground wire should be exposed 30mm~50mm from the upper surface of the furnace bottom.
